SIPSMART

SIPSMART is a Student Achievement Information System at Sebelas Maret University which was built based on UNS’s commitment to support students to excel both in academic and non-academic fields as well as possible. In order to improve the administration of student achievement, the Student Affairs Sector has completed the concept and application of data collection on UNS student achievements which is integrated with the Academic System (SIAKAD) and Single Sign On (SSO). Assessment of student activities in the SPKK which is a system for assessing the ability of students’ soft skills which is expressed in the value/points of the Student Activity Unit. The objectives of SPPK include:

(a) To increase student participation in student activities
(b) To improve students’ soft skills
(c) To provide recognition and or appreciation for learning activities and student achievements outside of curricular activities.

SPKK Assessment Guidelines

  1. Assessment of student activities in the SPKK is carried out for one full academic year according to the University’s academic calendar, where SPKK scores are issued only at the end of Odd semesters (semesters II, IV, VI and VIII).
  2. At the end of the study, the SPKK scores will be recapitulated and the total SPKK scores will be used as the basis for the preparation of the SKKK (Student Activity Certificate) which will be given when students graduate and are integrated into the SKPI (Certificate of Companionship Diploma).
  3. The SPKK is carried out according to the Procedure Guidelines issued by the UNS Student and Alumni Bureau.
  4. SPKK is used as a basis for consideration to determine excellent scholarships and others (except Bidikmisi), and also as a basis for consideration for determining the predicate “cumlaude”.
