Dr. Utari, S.Si., M.Si.

Head of Laboratory

The Modern Physics Laboratory is one of the laboratories in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sebelas Maret University. The laboratory is located on the 3rd floor of the UNS Integrated Laboratory Building. This laboratory is a laboratory that is used to conduct regular practicums and areas of interest. Where is the laboratory used for practicum or regular scheduled experiments, which are intended for Physics Department students who have carried out experiments that have been carried out on advanced physics experiments. Topics covered include:

  1. Photoelectric Effect
  2. Stefan Boltzman’s Law
  3. Cathode ray
  4. Ratio e/m
  5. Atomic Spectroscopy
  6. Zeeman Effect
  7. Detector Efficiency
  8. Gamma Sperstroscopy MCA and SCA

This laboratory is also used for practicum in the field of interest either by lecturers or students who conduct research and development on modern physics for the Final Project. For laboratory
