Laboratory Activity

Services for the Physics Study Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in terms of administration, libraries and laboratories refer to the fulfillment of the minimum Service Standards (SPM) of BLU UNS, namely the Regulation of the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 73 of 2008. In order to support the teaching and learning process (learning) for both practicum and research, the Study Program utilizes laboratories in the Physics study program, FMIPA Integrated Laboratory and UNS Integrated Laboratory which includes:

No. Laboratory Location
1 Fundamental Physics Laboratory UNS Integrated Laboratory
2 Advanced Physics Laboratory UNS Integrated Laboratory
3 Modern Physics Laboratory UNS Integrated Laboratory
4 Instrumentation and Electronics Laboratory Physics Laboratory
5 Materials Laboratory Physics Laboratory
6 Computing Laboratory Physics Laboratory
7 Geophysics Laboratory Physics Laboratory
8 Acoustic Laboratory Physics Laboratory
9 Optical and Photonics Laboratory Physics Laboratory
10 Polymer Laboratory Physics Laboratory
11 Physics Workshop Physics Laboratory

Lecturers and students are given wide opportunities to take advantage of monitored laboratory facilities, both in terms of access and development. In the use of learning, students use laboratories in compulsory practicum courses, PKM activities, research, and final project research.

Physics study program has a research group in order to improve lecturer research activities and. 33/UN27/PN/2014. The Research Group acts as a medium for discussion between lecturers who have similar research fields, but does not rule out the possibility of a research group collaborating with other research groups either from the same Study Program or from other Study Programs. The participation of the research group is not limited to research, but also discussions about proposed final project topics for students.
