Himafis-style: Phystival 2020 Grow Creativity at Pandemic Era

Surakarta – To grow creativity skills for college students and the public, HIMAFIS (Physics Student Organization) UNS held a series event titled PHYSTIVAL (Physics Festival) 2020. This event has two contests i.e Essay and Music Art.

The essay contest has a general theme that is “College Students’ Contribution in Approaching Vision of Indonesia 2045” with some sub themes such as education, social culture, science and technology, and economy. This essay contest has 32 participants and has been held from 13th September to 24th October 2020.

The music contest has been held on the same schedule as the essay contest. This music contest has 16 participants, solo and group. The Grand Closing is the top of this event series and has been held on 11th November 2020. This Grand Closing announces the contest’s winner.

Dimas Rayindra Baskara, The head of this event committee, has said some impressions from Phystival 2020, “From my point of view as the head of Phystival crew, I’m glad for this event. Even though this event was stunted by Covid-19 Pandemic, this event still can be held”.
